They will fix anything you can dream of. Whatever your diet restrictions are, costly yes, but good. Beautiful surroundings. The ducks will want to join you.

This is such a wonderful place, all the staff were lovely and friendly. We didn't realise that there was a tasting menu every night which was about 7 courses - excluding the canapés! I don't eat shellfish so they very kindly offered me another option and every time shellfish was on I got my own personal menu. The food was... More

The Huka Lodge features a special menu by their talented chef each night. All of the three evenings we dined while staying at the lodge were unique and delicious. They also use locally sourced ingredients and produce which make the menu fresh and creative. I was inspired each evening by what the chef prepared and cannot wait to return to... More

Visited here many years ago but was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences I have ever had. The beautiful river runs along the front of the property and is awe inspiring. If you can't afford to stay overnight then lunch is a great option!!!

My husband & I spent 4 lovely days in Huka Lodge. A wonderful retreat to rest & relax. It was all mod cons in the suite. Sounds of the mighty Waikato River in the background, yet so peaceful. The staff were genuinely friendly & attentive, the food of very good quality. Management was hands on. The grounds were well manicured... More

We were doing a vacation in our favorite country New Zealand and we had read and heard from friends about the Huka Lodge. It was excellent in every respect the room was large and the river flowed fairly close to our room. Quite and so well done, no one is in a hurry and we were just very relaxed. The... More

We've been to many lodges in New Zealand but Huka Lodge is the pick! You can't beat the location, accommodation, food, wine, service and activities on offer. We just had 3 nights but if I went again I would definitely try and stay for at least 4 nights. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just a few miles outside the city of Taupo, Huka Lodge is nestled in a Scenic setting--huge old trees provide a lush green atmosphere and lots of shade plus it is on the banks of Waikato River, New Zealand's longest river. It is beautiful to look out windows of the LODGE and about 20 COTTAGES and see the swirling fast... More
