Beautiful room with attentive staff. The food was wonderful with an extensive wine and spirit selection. Had a bit of fun trying to understanding the quiet Irish waiter with a thick accent as to what the fish of the day was. Highly recommended!

Visits Logan Brown tonight with my wife and friends for the5 course degustation. The food was presented beautifully and was interesting in composition. We felt the courses were on the small side - even for a degustation menu and were still a little hungry afterwards....More

Logan Brown has been our first pick for fine dining in Wellington for the past 10 years. The atmosphere is comforting, yet suitably impressive. The food, wine and service always exceeds our high expectations. We continue to return...no more needs to be said!

Our Concierge, Keith, at InterContinental recommended Logan Brown for dinner one evening and I cannot begin to say enough good things about this dining experience. From the wine to the main to the entree to dessert, all of the selections are amazing.

Degustation often means that you are sampling smaller portions of the chef's art rather than the chef suggesting a full portion of one of his creations.

Description
Awarded TWO HATS Good Food Awards 2013, 2014, 2015 and Supreme Winner Restaurant of the Year NZ 2009. Nearly 20 years after Steve Logan founded the restaurant, Logan Brown is still showing newcomers how to do fine dining. The neo-classical interior remains as plush as ever, drawing diners who wouldn't normally brave the upper reaches of Cuba St, while competent, confident service encourages adventurous choices from the wine list. The kitchen, headed by Shaun Clouston, continues to turn out innovative, but not gimmicky, food. There's a strong emphasis on local and seasonal flavours, with a nod to the huntin', shootin' and fishin' enjoyed by the restaurant's founders. Classic Kiwi flavours are embraced and showcased with a sense of humour. In brief: style, service and food you can bank on Said international guest judge, Ralph-Kyte Powell, "If I had to select an international flagship for New Zealand cuisine. Logan Brown would be hard to go past"
