I have eaten at Marrakech many times - to celebrate with friends and family or simply because I was so exhausted on Friday night I needed food to revive! Abdul's food is always so delicious, sustaining and value for money. While I am doing my job, he is slowly, slowly cooking lamb shanks until the meat falls off the bone... More

I've been in Marrakech many times. For lunch, dinner or because I was just passing and couldn't resist. All the meals I had were really good with well ballanced taste. My favorites, Salma tagine and Agadir beef are so delicious. Always comming back for one of these with good mint tee.

After a busy full on day working, the rain falling and tired, Marrakech was an excellent choice for a take out dinner. A kebab at $10 was a perfect choice. I was also grateful for their help in making sure my meal was dairy and wheat free. The owner even offered to replace my wrap with some rice. Good service,... More

We were there as a group which seemed to cause problems for the wait staff and the kitchen. There were some delays in people getting their food. The food wasn't particularly seasoned well. It was presented well in Tagine ceramics. Disappointing since I was looking forward to good Moroccan food. I am vegetarian and I don't think that vegetarian food... More

Great food. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Service was a bit adhoc but was with a smile. Just moments of all or nothing. Would definitely eat here again.

I eat at lots of restaurants and this small suburban eatery is one of my favourites. This is a very small cafe and not much to look at but don't be fooled by appearances. No kebabs or iskanders here, only traditional Morrocan food made with the finest ingredients and prepared by an excellent chef. The tangines are a beautiful blend... More

Service was good, not great. We were a party of 6, four adults and two children. I ordered the chicken and all I got was a chicken wing with frozen peas and carrots. It was very ho hum. My husband ordered the lamb and it was the same, very ordinary and not exciting at all. At the end of the... More

Have always wanted to try this place and it was worth the uber ride from Wellington CBD to Marrakech. Loved the chicken, pear and prune dish, it was a melt in your mouth moment. The waiter was very polite and helpful. It's very nice, simple in a nice way, with Moroccan furnishings. There is no alcohol but that was a... More

While visiting wellington , I wanted to try something different , Mediterranean especially . After I googled a couple of eateries in town , my tongue drove me to Marrakech restaurant . Just after entering the place , it looked just perfect as a very welcoming, hospitable little Moroccan house , the food was mouthwatering , the service was impeccable... More

This is a wonderful little place. I've been here several times and I've enjoyed each experience. The location is about five minutes by car out of the city, and the drive is along Oriental Parade which itself is quiet pleasant. The handy thing about the location is that there's plenty of parking around, and it's all free! The restaurant itself... More
