Cabinet food and bakery are fabulous and this centrally-located Wellington cafe has a snug den feel with lots of newspapers and magazines. Very popular and often hard to get a seat esp. on weekend mornings. Visit every time when in Welly but last two meals have disappointed. Counter staff very pleasant but table/kitchen service inconsistent. Returned last meal which was... More

After several weeks in New Zealand we started to miss good bread. In Wellington we found this café and bakery. They do not only serve great coffee and delicious cookies, but they also sell really delicious bread. This is definitely the place to go if you love delicious pastries and bread.

Every time we walked past, this place was busy and the aromas were enticing. We popped in for breakfast on our last day and were lucky to snag a table. As we had a big day of travel, we opted for a bacon butty but in my experience, that's usually a (soft) roll full of bacon. This once came out... More

Stumbled across this restaurant while walking through Wellington and had a delicious chicken sourdough roll. Was perfectly warmed (toasted) and exactly what I needed while taking in the beautiful city. Lots of options at very affordable prices and kid friendly options. Would recommend if you are after a sit down lunch or brunch in a nice cafe/restaurant in the heart... More

A wonderful warm 'chill-zone' on a busy Wellington thoroughfare enabling one to soak in the NZ capital and CBD's buzz, character, and class  - all the while pampered with mouth-watering pastries and kick-start  coffee. Give the global café brands a wide berth and support this iconic, local enterprise brimming with sidewalk soul and hyper friendly service.

Surprisingly nice brekafast for a bakery shop and cafe. The ingredients all worked well together, the only feedback is that the toast serving was much smaller than I would expect with a breakfast - they served two 2 inch x 1 inch toasted bread. Quite disproportionate to the rest of the breakfast. The poached eggs, which were borderline overcooked and... More

Love the pastries and cakes here. Fresh and delicious. Coffee was nice and hot. Service could be a bit friendlier though.

We went here for lunch while sightseeing around Wellington. They had a wide variety of food in their food cabinet and a menu above this (way up high which we missed). The kids food - croissants etc was good and liked. I ordered a pasta salad and while the taste was really nice, it was heated up in a microwave... More

Description
Pandoro has been in Wellington since 1996 with our flagship panetteria opening on Allen Street 20 years ago. After the success of our first bakery we expanded and opened our doors at Woodward Street & shortly after Willis Street. We are a family owned and operated business still run by the same family who opened Pandoro Wellington 20 years ago. With even the youngest family member - our 7 year old son, helping out behind the counter during school holidays At Pandoro we are a dedicated bakery product solution provider to the Food Service Industry as well as a specialist boutique retail bakery. We produce primarily specialty breads and non-yeasted sourdoughs that are all additive free, GM free and made to a premium standard using traditional artisan methods. We offer a wide variety of bread products which are baked fresh daily then delivered seven mornings a week throughout the Greater Wellington region and lower North Island. We can arrange special deliveries to the South Island. We also offer a range of traditional and contemporary cake and pastry products as part of our commitment to being a one-stop shop solution provider. Our Willis & Allen Street Panetteria both serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. All three stores offer cabinet food throughout the day. Takeaway coffee and lunch is available and we have a vast selection of fresh baked goods on offer everyday. We also offer catering services for corporates, clubs & life events. At Pandoro nothing goes to waste. We bake fresh every single day so our customers receive a premium product and our leftover products go to charities such as the Wellington DCM, Wellington free store & For Families at the end of each day. We also support one off charity events whenever possible.
