I first went to Vic's the first year it opened. I lived just around the corner for a couple of years, so visited on a fairly regular basis. The menu was full of really tasty Kiwi favourites and the coffee was of a high standard...More

Popped in for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. Not all that warm inside. Ordered eggs and bacon with toast and that is exactly what I got with no other garnish. Nice enough but not spectacular. Good coffee but not awesome.

I have tried some of the food on menu before, and decided to give the sandwich ordering a go. I added a few extra, and already it was getting quite pricey, but still I found the sandwich to be a little bland. Maybe i needed...More

The food is always fresh, especially breads. A really nice atmosphere. On the slightly more expensive side for cabinet food but always freshly baked so worth paying for

Stayed at nearby motel and walked in for breakfast on a busy Monday morning. From the outside this place didn't look particularly special but once inside everything was top notch - very comfortable and clearly aiming at a discerning clientele. Service was excellent and the...More

Vic's is close to where I work and a favourite place to meet for coffee or lunch. The food is fresh, varied, tasty and reasonably priced. They do a wide range of salads, hot food, juice and baked goods. Coffee is good and the bread...More

A place crowded with locals is a good sign! Very good homemade breads (thank heavens we bought some to take with us) and baked goods. Good soups, and great breakfasts. Coffee is also first rate. Nice, casual place to pop into for breakfast or lunch.
