4 adults & 4 kids dropped in for breakfast, great atmosphere & very quick. Had the eggs florentine, was great, not too much, just enough! Coffee was hot & quick also. Not many options for kids. Maybe should offer a kids pancakes or something!!! Would highly recommend this place if you are in Christchurch!

Dropped in for breakfast with the family at the weekend. Relaxed atmosphere with a great breakfast menu. Standout dish from what we ordered were the pancakes. Wide choice of bakery items available to take away. I'm rating very good but on the staff level the guy with a very particular fashion sense was incredibly grumpy. He's doing the place a... More

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. Coffee was really good and their bread is delicious, so any meal that comes with toast is sure to be great. Grabbed a few muffins on our way out, a banana/mixed berry and a savory, and both were fantastic.

Not a bad spot to pop in for a coffee on the way in or out of the city centre. Nice atmosphere, good coffee, and pretty decent service. Best we've found in Christchurch so far.

Called in for breakfast this morning after seeing it recommended in the Lonely Planet guide. We had two of the big breakfasts. The poached eggs I had were under cooked and the breakfast as a whole was pretty average. It's trying to hard to make a cooked breakfast fancy instead of just keeping it simple and doing it right.

Called in for breakfast but was a little disappointed. The coffee was burnt & tasted bitter & I felt the food was over priced. Basic bacon & eggs $18 and Eggs with salmon $22. Wasn't anything special...

This place is top drawer from the full breakfast with home made baked beans to the muesli or lunch specials . Have been here many times alone and with friends and they loved it . Also try the in house baked bread to take home the experience . Superb !

We had a late breakfast on a Wednesday morning and Vic's had a busy buzz about it. The food and coffee were very good and came out quickly. The atmosphere and decor which included music and show posters was well suited to it's vibe. We would definitely go back there again.

Breakfast was so good we went there both days we were in Christchurch. Bacon and eggs-a hit and the chai latte was excellent.

Breakfast was fast and good. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere inviting. Eat at Vic's! You'll like it. Great eggs and bacon.
