Set menus dinner for our group of 5. Great selection of dishes, friendly service on a veer you busy night. Th deserts were a highlight, main meals flavoursome but could have been served warmer.

Came with a group of 6 for dinner, had been recommended by a colleague. Did not disappoint. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Menu had something for all with a French theme to it but not strictly so. The twice baked souffle was pronounced very good by those who ordered it. I had the Thai inspired seafood curry and really... We went to Two Chefs to celebrate our daughters graduation. We were a group of 16 and this was no problem for the team. The food was sensational, the wait staff were fun and full of energy, the wine selection impressive. Highly recommended.

A well presented restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. A simple yet elegant menu which we loved. The only thing that was a negative was the length of time we had to wait for the mains. Still a place to go if you are not in a hurry!!!

Lovely little bistro, we wanted a good simple steak and good New Zealand wine. We got both. Kitchen was a little overwhelmed, but we were told up front there would be a short wait, so it was all good. French influenced, known for their French onion soup (we did not try.... travelling in a group.... thought it kinder...!). Steak was... More

We arrived and were shown to a table. Asked if we would like drinks menu which was provided. Had to ask for food menu. Surely drinks go with food. After 15 minutes not even the tap water had appeared so we walked out. Staff seemed uninterested in us.

Seafood curry was top notch. Tasty, spicy (without being too hot) and tasty. Really disappointed with steak - a bistro should have a fantastic steak frites. Chips were a but soggy, meat was slightly tough and medium was more like rare/blue. Also not sure why they give you drinks menu. Serve drinks and then15 minutes later give the food menu... More

Our first visit to Two Chefs and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent as was the food. Wine list was very good and offered a selection of local wines also. Can recommend.

Having checked out restaurants in the vicinity we decided on this one influenced by the French style decor and the interesting menu. The food was good. We had the roasted venison loin, sautéed kale & mustard, parmesan beignets, black garlic and the vegetarian tasting menu. The wine was also good. It was terra sancta mysterious diggings pinot noir. The restaurant... More
