Came here while in town with my folks for a coffee. Excellent coffee, good size mugs and at a good price. Can't comment on the food as we didn't order any. Will be back again though and maybe order food too next time.

Had the Belly Bacon dish. Very good bacon and bread and eggs. Great prompt service. Eggs were nice and bacon highest quality streaky and was premium. Generous portions too. Nice surroundings although a little small.

Called in for some Southland sushi, loved the cheese rolls. They were fresh, delicious and good value. All the food in the cabinets looked good. I'll return next time I'm in town.

We had the BEST omelet and coffee here before heading off though The Catlins on the Bottom Bus!! Great way to start the day. Their staff are friendly and the cafe is clean and warm. We will be back!!

My partner and I regularly visit Sass cafe for breakfast. The big breakfast fills me up and tastes like a real english breakfast. The hash browns and bacon are superb. Easily the best breakfast in invercargill. Only downside is there not open on a sunday....More

Good value food - pleasant staff. Good option for lunch - reasonably priced. Try the Winter Special : Butterscotch Hot Chocolate! It may look busy, but check it out, there is an upstairs too - with comfortable sofa's to relax a bit.

Sass Café can meet your lunch and hot or cold drink needs. We have free Wi-fi available and an upstairs area away from the main hustle and bustle of the café for those business discussions that set the day in motion. Need to take lunch on the road, we can do just about everything on the menu as a takeaway option if you wish. Talk to our friendly staff and we will meet your needs where possible. We are in the main business part of town, the parking meters do not need feeding until 9.00 am, until then you can park for free. After 9 and need change, see us, we have plenty!
