We got a mixed seafood (of course!) basket. The fish, seafood & chips were amazing. You must visit, friendly service. You can eat under a small awning, the back of the caravan or picnic tables out on the lawn

Delicious fresh seafood in a warm environment. We could have had takeaways but met up with some other lovely people in the caravan so we ate there.

Delicious fresh local cod and bluff oysters. A must do for lunch and dinner. Best fish and chips ive had. Cod is so yummy as are bluffies.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Stewart Island. We went early, on a day when blue cod and fresh oysters were available (their board tells you what's coming in so we knew in advance when the cod was arriving). We sat inside the small trailer and...More

We had high hopes for Kai Kart after all the rave reviews on Trip Advisor and the place itself is so cute and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The battered fish and mussels were overcooked (there was no grilled fish) and the "chicken"...More
