Visited the Surfhouse with colleagues during a recent work visit... it is a lovely place with great views of the Newcastle coast. We had the lunch soft tacos, they were average but well priced... I would say however that it seems like a great place for sunset drinks with friends or coworkers...

The cocktails are so so good and the finger food/ tapas was lovely! A brilliant spot for an afternoon drink. However at night there is no view as it is dark, better day spot for breakfast/lunch/drinks

The view is fabulous! The food upstairs is average but don't even bother trying the pizzas downstairs... awful! As is the service down there. It's a shame because they have one of the best locations around but the food and service across the road at The Beaches Hotel is much better. My recommendation is have some drinks at Surfhouse and... I have been to the surfhouse on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the atmosphere but on my last visit, the food was of an incredibly low standard. The worst pizza Ive ever had. Chilli prawns with no chilli, tails in tact on the dough and smothered in cheese making it impossible to seperate the tails. All of... More

I had a lovely relaxing lunch here during a recent visit. The furniture outside was lovely to sit in, relax and look at the waves crashing.

I had my engagement party here. The food was excellent. The only drama we had was the music kept dropping out or being interfered. Other than that it was great.

A gorgeous location that truly reminds you that you are on one of the most gorgeous coast lines in Australia. The food is excellent cafe style fare.

The cafe and bar very pleasant for a casual lunch or snack and a beer sitting on lounges overlooking the beach and ocean

The bottom level casual pizza place is the best service of all the levels on offer! Great choice of pizzas, delicious toppings, gluten free bases, fab vegetarian options, sweet potato wedges & a glass of wine...perfect! Excellent staff and the sound of waves! What more could one need?

The restaurant was fully booked so we settled for front row seats to the beach in the bar 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻my mouth is still watering for the 🍄 truffle oil pizza and pea hommus! The bar tender looked like Brandon (Jason Priestly 90210 he he). Lovely 🍷 by the glass. Great night thank you 😊
