We keep going back to the restaurant but it's often booked out so you need to book early. The limone veal is irresistable. The garlic prawns is good for a starter. The staff are friendly.

Tiny, cheery, fun. Right next door to one of Newcastle's fine dining establishments. Almost poking out a tongue at them! Great Italian basics: veal, chicken, pizza all the classics. Garlic prawns are soooo good. The place is spilling onto the footpath on a not-so-warm Newcastle...More

Bit reticent to do this review. Rosina's is always very busy and hard to get into. If I tell more people how great it is never get a table! It's traditional, tasty and always reliable. Located amongst some fine dining restaurants in Newcastle's East End,...More

We enjoyed the pizza at Rosina's very much. I imagine it would rival pizza in Italy with generous toppings and perfect base and sauce.

Slow service from a group of unwelcoming waitresses. Our dishes (pizza, pasta, chicken schnitzel and veal schnitzel) had two things in common: a bad taste and they were swimming in oil. It's a BYO alcohol, but you might want to bring your own food too.

Very disappointing meal. Pizza was more Australian than Italian and the cannelloni was frozen in the middle. Staff said that the microwave had malfunctioned but sad that the pasta had been frozen in the first place then reheated. Better Italian in Newcastle.

The food in this restaurant is authentic Italian and is yummy. The veal princess was especially delicious, my favourite. it is a very small casual restaurant and booking prior is a good idea. The staff are very helpful and kind. Great for casual family dinners.

I rang to book after reading previous reviews even though it was Wednesday night. Although they were already full they managed to squeeze us in early and what a delight. My partner had veal pizzaiola which he loved. I had spaghetti Siciliane (seafood and hot...More

Always good, yummy, hearty Italian food that is excellent value. Very busy so hard to get a table, but there is always take-away. The frequently run out of pizza bases by 7 - 8pm so get in early! Tiramisu is to die for

Very difficult for on- street parking. There is a Kings parking station on cnr King and Perkins street but pretty good walk from there.
