We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the fabulous Glasshouse Restaurant. Good location and attentive service - food was different and well done - nice to see the kitchen from the restaurant too

We stayed at Goonoo Goonoo and went here for dinner. The service was friendly, efficient and thoughtful. The food was simply sublime. We both agreed that it was some of the best dining we had ever experienced outside of a large city. It is worth...the trip to dine hereMore

If you are in the service industry then 0 out of 10. If you are in the rudeness industry then 10/10. My wife and I dined with you in January, there was COVID spacing and our table for two was orientated so that one of...us got to enjoy the view of the kitchen and not your spectacular location. We asked if we could rotate the table 90 degrees so we could both enjoy the view. The waitress said yes so we did. She then returned and advised that the manager had countered that and that we had to return it to the original position due to ‘Covid’ . In both positions we were no closer to any other diners. When we pointed this out we were advised we had to move it back. We were then ignored for the next 45 minutes by all floor staff and the manager, a team of 4 in a restaurant of 20 guests. I had to grab the waitress by the arm so we could order a drink and place our order. We were then ignored for the entire duration of our meal, other than for the staff to sullenly ‘dump’ our plates on our table. Absolutely unbelievable.... had it not bee 9.00pm and your location 25 minutes outside of Tamworth I would have left, but having driven from Sydney to stay at Goonoo and being bloody hungry, the thought of a lonely bag of chips and the tube of Pringles in the room persuaded me to stay. Wasn’t going to submit, but a friend at diner last night recounted a similar story.More

Had a special dinner here and it did not disappoint. Great menu (featuring local and native ingredients), beautifully prepared and presented, good wine and cocktail list supported by very good staff. Being able to have this and look out over a really lovely view made...it definitely worthwhile.More
