I was exploring around the local caves and asked where to go for lunch, a staff member of the caves suggested cafe boranup, I’m glad we listened cause it was an excellent feed and nice staff.

We decided to have lunch at the Boranup Cafe, oh what a delight. Situated in the Boranup Forest, surrounded by bush land, it made the perfect back drop for lunch. My husband had the Steak Burger & chips and I enjoyed the Squid, salad &...More
We travelled to Boranup for a look at the forest and a few scones. The food came very quick, as did drinks. The café hound, Red, is still not there, same since 2015, but a worker told us that he was at another restaurant. Overall,...More
Reminds of the old fashioned Margaret River experience set in a beautiful forest. Finally found a place that does the Red Espresso....a Rooibos coffee alternative - Yah! Next time will stay for lunch as seeing the food coming out it looks & smells amazing. The...More
Thanks for your visit! Yes,we have some cheeky staff, and love it. Everyone loves a bit of banter ;) The boss is a bit cheeky too! See you again!
Leaving Augusta in WA and after the Boranup Karri Forest, we came across Cafe Boranup. A cafe just off the main road but well worth a visit. Beautiful food, generous servings, reasonable prices and happy staff. The gallery next door is also excellent with many...More
Thanks for your visit. See you again we hope.
Great coffee, great food, great service. Lovely setting in the bush. Although this didn't apply to me, they serve a free drink to breastfeeding mums!
Thanks for your visit. We love our little spot in the bush too.
Rare to find such a sunny afternoon mid-winter... and our ride through the magnificent karri forest set the scene for a great lunch at Cafe Boranup. I ordered the Calamari... and my wife relished her Fish Soup with a savoury scone. That latter meal must...More
Thanks for your visit! Glad you enjoyed it.
We've been here twice and both times it has been such a strange experience. The first time I asked for HiLo milk and got a three minute lecture from the lady serving me on why I shouldn't be drinking HiLo milk, only to then tell...More
We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit. Cafe Boranup has 6 milks to choose from for coffee, but hilo is just not one of them. We have tried to change Google's opening hours from 4pm to 3 pm closing time for winter numerous...More
A lovely setting in the forest with nice food. The fish and chips were really fresh with perfectly cooked chips and a delicious salad. All would be pretty idyllic except that perhaps they fall into the trap of catering to the staff rather than the...More
Thanks for your review. Next time you visit, please just ask the crew to turn the music down to hear the birds outside. It's no problem. Regards Cindy
We sat on the outside deck, well rugged-up, for the pleasure of sitting amongst the tall timber and greenery. The setting is very close-to-nature and peaceful. The building looks good, the staff were friendly, and the coffee was fine. A good wayside stop.
Thank you for your lovely review!
