Excellent seafood chowder entree followed by one of the best pork belly mains. We also had half a crayfish which was tasty too. All plates were generous portions. Highly recommended.

Nice and close to the accommodation we were staying at in Kaikoura so wandered down for a cold beer and a meal. Friendly staff, good facilities (TAB and pokies) and decent pub grub on offer.

The restaurant was a handy option as we were staying at the Motor Lodge attached. The service was friendly, the meals were huge and tasty. Certainly worth the visit. We dined later in the evening so it was nice and quiet.
Very nice motel and right next to a restaurant. However the TV reception is the worst experienced. Only 4 channels and a matter of fact note for you not to play with the remote. Little wonder when worse than "Preview"
Meal very nice, and reasonably priced. A testament for the meals would be the number of local residents that eat there.
