A delicious breakfast on our way to Wanaka. The smoked tomatoes absolutely topped my breakfast off, so yummy. Heaps of tasty things to try. Beautiful seating outside on a crisp morning.

Was it Arrowtown or here? This place wins hands down. I had the lemon tart with a mocha. Wife the chocolate cheese cake. Both had berries and cream on the side. Yum yum. Sat outside on a pre spring day.

This cafe is really a cottage along a country road near Lake Hayes. Serves a very large cooked breakfast until 3pm, triple of everything, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc (see photo). The cakes are also good, especially the lemon meringue. Go there when really hungry.

Nice venue in an old cottage on the Lake Hayes/Arrowtown road. I normally stop in here for a takeaway coffee but recently stopped for lunch and the Gado Gado salad which was superb. I understand one of the owners is Indonesian so that accounts for this being on the menu, worth a visit for this alone.

I love this place. It is just so quaint, the staff are always so friendly and i love that you can sit in the cottage & also around in their gardens. A really nice place to go and relax with friends in the sunshine. Best cheesecake i have had too, as well as their iced chocolates!

Easy to miss, but worth turning around! Hidden little cafe with yum coffee and the most impressive lemon meringue pie! Ok it looked better than it tasted (still yummy!), but sometimes eyes need to be spoiled too! Location is next to road so can be a bit noisy. Nice staff, toys inside and outside for kids. Nice, relaxing, hidden spot... More

Passed by this place on the way to Arrowtown. It is tucked away off the road and is literally a little cottage. Very rustic but food was ok but not great. Ok if you are hungry.

this café is not far from Millbrook and we found it whilst walking back after a walk to Lake Hayes. Lovely setting and as it was sunny and warm we ate in the garden. The gado gado salad I ordered was very tasty and the 'revitalising' juice really hit the spot. good service and lovely informal lunch spot.

Thank Tracey011
