It was Good Friday morning, and this cafe looked busy, so we thought that looked a good sign. We had a simple breakfast, thick fruit toast and coffee. Not much to go wrong, I agree, but the service was quick, the toast properly cooked and good coffee.

This a great place for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and cake. I love their vegetarian foccaccias and they have a great european cake selection, reminding me of the Ackland Street cake shops.

The owner produced such sludge of a coffee and tried to pass it off as expresso. On challenging him to try again I was abused as someone who doesn't know Italian coffee. I live in the Italian section of Sydney. The man was rude and wanted me out of the shop. Disgusting service and coffee. Avoid.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Female staff were welcoming, friendly & very accommodating. Ordered assortment of pies and focaccia to eat in. Sat outside, only to have staff bring our meals, very apologetic saying their boss had told them to put in takeaway bags - not on plates. Went in to ask for sauce (which we had already ordered... My friend, myself and her 2 children entered this shop for a coffee and milkshakes for the children. We placed our order then sat at a nearby table to wait for our drinks, Whilst talking to my friend I could hear a person yelling and turned around only to find that the owner of the business was yelling and I... Disgusting service! Rude! We walked out before we ordered. We are a family of 6. Looking for lunch late in the afternoon. Husband parked the car and I ran in to ask for a menu to see if it was suitable. The staff grunted towards the takeaway menu. I asked if we could eat there. They said yes. So we... More

The service here is a bit quirky, and the shop front unassuming but don't be fooled. I take all my out-of-town visitors here at least once or twice! The food is actually very good - a large step above the usual cafe fare. I've had the best vegetable pastie of my life here. And gone back several times since. A... More

The man behind the counter was one of the rudest people I have ever meet. As soon as you walk in you know you have made a bad choice by the way you are greeted. The way he talks to people it's like your an inconvenience to him and the shop. The coffee is definitely the worst I have ever... More

I have never walked out of a cafe so disgusted!! While we waited for our burnt breakfast and cold hot chocolate, we could not help but hear the cook/owner verbally abuse his lovely staff member... I did tell the young lady how lovely she was after been brought to tears by this man and what a piece of sh#$ he... More

We were greeted in a friendly way. We opted for pies for breakfast as we were a bit over cooked breakfasts after ten days on the road. Cold morning and pies were satisfying.
