Cyndi and fab 4 aside, a no-nonsense, unpretentious kebab, when All you Need is Food. Living 1.5 hrs from culinary luxury does not deter my epicurial enthusiasm for this great bread, meat, salad. Make no mistake, staff are there only to serve great charcoal-cooked food. Out the back I've seen the baker sticking huge flat breads to the wall of... More

The meals here are quite simple but they are simply delicious. Tender charcoal cooked spiced meats with traditional rice, garden salad & crispy afghan bread. Everything is made in house and at a very reasonable price. There were some new faces behind the counter at our last visit but not much has changed, the rice was a little different (still... More

It was a bit chill afternoon, both of us hungry. Looking for something with rice. The mix shahs and rice was good, but the fresh bread was awesome

Great charcoal-barbecued meats with generous servings of meat, salad and afghan bread. Their condiment sauces make the meal!

Been a customer for years The food is always always tasty, always consistently good Sadly i fear though due to popularity the prices will soon be too much for what the food is.

Wow, the food is tasty! Meats are flavoursome, the Afghan bread is addictive, and combined with a salad and rice, we always leave happy (and full)! We eat here regularly as the food is so good. The decor and setting is no-frills, but it's essentially fast food Afghan style, not a fine dining restaurant. We love it here! Do try!

The food is quite good and tasty with good serving size and good price. The only negative is that its a bit small and not so flashy.

While driving back from Paynesville yesterday, we stopped at Afghan Charcoal Kebab in Dadenong. It is a small Afghani eatery on Thomas Street. The food is freshly cooked including the famous afghan breads. We enjoyed the mix kebab platter and Chicken kebabs. The kebabs were prepared without the onions and masala, typical of Indian Kebabs and the roti was soft... More
