What a great place for breakfast lunch & dinner. Make sure you book though as it's super busy. Was a little noisy due to the numbers but think that added to the atmosphere. All our meals were great & staff very attentive.

Had our last meal in Coogee in Barzura and we weren't disappointed. Food and service were excellent, lovely friendly staff. The location is fabulous right beside Coogee beach. The atmosphere is relaxed unlike some of the other establishments in Coogee. Highly recommend their fish and chips. Will definitely return if ever back in Coogee

Sitting on Coogee Beach, Barzura has a most beautiful setting with indoor seating and umbrella-shaded outdoor seating where polite dogs are welcome. The pace of service encourages relaxing and taking in the view. The breakfast menu has both standard fare (scrambled or fried eggs) and more exotic combinations which just beg to be tried. Our party of four ordered and... More

The food is superb and the location is spectacular. This is a very popular place for lunch so get there early if you want a table outside. The prices are reasonable and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place for lunch or breakfast

After swimming at wylies baths met a friend for brekky: great eggs, granola and coffee. Good service and sitting outside is the best option if you can get a table. Terrific spot!!

Awful. Bad service. Bad coffee. Bad good. Only the view can rescue this place. Avoid like the plague. Enough said.

Barzura is nestled on the Southern end of Coogee Beach. It has a pavement section as well as an indoors area and irrespective of the time you visit it has the busy hum of a popular and welcoming eatery. The staff are "to die for". Nothing is a problem for them and warmth, hospitality and consideration exudes from them all.... More

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
