Not a lot of affordable options in Katoomba on a Saturday night. This place isn't so expensive and service is more attentive than most others in the area. Recommended.

We called in for breakfast and were surprised at the size of the meals for the price. We both had bacon and eggs on toast with coffee and it was fresh and delicious. Great place for cheap eats.

Its a no frills cheap place to eat, that appears to be popular. The menu is big, with a few quirks like a mexican section. Group of 8, 5 adults 3 kids were accomodated without fuss and service was good. Meals were average, with only one, the chicken quisidilla, being a bit dodgy. Byo is great with minimal corkage. A... The service was slightly off-putting, I think the young lady was just having a difficult day, but it is always a lovely meal at Savoy.

Restaurant was very busy with no seats available at first. Very friendly waiter asked us to wait and found us a table within a few minutes. As we sat down he cleaned the table, provided menus as well as water bottle and glasses. After about five minutes order was taken and food arrived soon after. Food and drinks were very... More

Perhaps it was because the Savoy was one of the only places open but it was pretty crowded from about 7:45 a.m. over the Easter weekend. Under huge pressure, and not relieved by extra staff until 8:30, the waitresses did a wonderful job. An excellent and generous breakfast with great coffee. The staff remained calm and were awfully funky.

Sat inside. Looked and felt rustic and due to the reviews here on TripAdvisor picked it for lunch. Very basic. Tried hard. Food acceptable. Very rustic and nothing to complain about. Just an ok place.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on a recent trip through the mountains, there were a few cafe's in close proximity but we chose the Savoy because it seemed to be well patronized. The cafe is very cozy and the service was outstanding, our order was taken promptly and arrived in quick time. The coffee was excellent and... More

This place has a vast menu with some good variety of food. However I really felt the food and service wasn't up to scratch, it didn't have the feel of a nice cafe to be in and the pulled pork burger I had was completely ruined by spices (I hardly ever leave stuff on my plate but I had to... More

We came in for a late breakfast and had coffee and eggs Florentine. The poached eggs were done just right and it was a good hollandaise.
