Our business group of 7 enjoyed a lovely evening. Plenty of variety. The meals are huge! No room for dessert which is was a pity. The food tasted good. Wait-staff were friendly and kept us entertained during a lengthy delay with our orders due to being one chef down that evening. We weren't phased and we all enjoyed a lovely... More

After a long day on the road, we like to dine where we are staying. We have dined in hundreds of motel restaurants. Mostly we accept that there will be limited variety in the absence of a chef. We would however had liked just a little more here. We were happy enough with the quantity and quality of the meals... More

I had surf n turf steak for dinner. The steak was decent sized and cooked correctly. Lots of seafood with it and the plate was full to overflowing with the meal. Vegetables on the plate were nice and a generous serving. We took our children and the manager there bent over backwards to help and accomodate us while we ate.... More

A Wednesday evening celebration dinner was one to remember at this brilliant restaurant located at the Jolly Swagman Motor Inn. The menu is extensive, the service excellent & the food superb. Scallops were delicious & my oysters Kilpatrick were large & succulent with a slightly spicier than usual sauce. My girl had reef & beef which was more than ample... More

Prawn Curry was average at $27, Scotch fillet reasonable but not worth $33. Children's meals available and licensed bar. Service was good.

I had a week of tough steak in Central Southern Queensland and entered the restaurant expecting more of the same. The menu was completely different with a wide selection of dishes so much so that I could not decide which to try. Eventually I settled on the Barramundi with crumbed almond topping. The presentation was first class and the fish... More
