We ordered the garlic cheese pizza for entree which was amazing, and for main the chicken schnitzel and chicken parmigiana. Took some time for mains to arrive but portion sizes were huge and both meals were very enjoyable. Great views of the water from our table.

We visit the pier a lot for dinner. Kind of our local. 99% of the time our meal is great. Love their fish and chips and pizzas as well as other meals. Great view whilst eating. Wait staff friendly.

This restaurant in the heart of George Town has extraordinarily great food. The views are to die for, and the service is prompt and cordial. I had a rib eye steak that was the best steak I've EVER had. Cooked to perfection the steak literally melted in my mouth. The vegetables were crisp and all fresh from the farm gate.... More

The Pier Hotel restaurant is a great setting with views of the Tamar River. The food is good quality pub food and always consistent.

From the outside it does not seem to tell much. But the food was good. I had the Hot chilly beef pie and was just awesome, right heat level and nice mushrooms sauce. The roasted tomato and basil scoop was good but I would have for it a bit smoother with a blade blender. Beer on tap and Taz wines... More

We stopped here for dinner and a drink before going out to the penguins at Low Head. The pub itself has a really nice atmosphere and the restaurant had a good variety on the menu and reasonable prices. It pays to book especially if you, like us were stopping on the way to the Penguins, they will make sure you... More

Nice food, nice pub but unfortunately greeted by unwelcoming staff.. "Jo" in bistro! You get paid to be there, not hard to be friendly.

Is very last century bistro style pub dining experience. The menu selection is reasonable but is pricy for pub meals. Portion sizes are OK as is Food, but nothing to get too excited about. Overall was acceptable..

We ordered lunch at 12 arrived at 1pm. Ordered nachos. Totally disgusted. No mince, beans or guacamole. Instead used salsa over corn chips and topped off with an overload of cheese. Friend ordered curry pie. A disgusting curry dish topped with an uncooked puff pastry on top. Wouldn't recommend as prices don't match the quality.

This place was a pleasant surprise as we had been for a drive & stumbled across this place when walking through George Town. We both had toasted sandwiches & chips with gravy. No complaints. The chips were well cooked with nice gravy. Really picturesque sleepy town.
