Overlooking the ocean this restaurant turned out to be a Jewel. The food was fabulous, the service was spot on and the cost surprisingly inexpensive. Five meals five beers two waters under $130.00

This is a well run business. They are have good, well trained staff and the food is lovely. Coffee is always on point and the pricing is reasonable.

This cafe is very popular with the locals. I was told it served the best coffee on the island. I loved the fact that you could select your own fruit combination to make a delicious freshly squeezed juice. I was very happy with my all day breakfast.

Excellent coffee. As well as the iced coffee. Offers lactose free milk which was a great bonus. Great breakfast menu variety and lunch equally yummy! Service is friendly and quick too!

Lovely food and drinks. Restaurant is big enough so that you don't have to wait for long to get a table.

Have reviewed MadCowes prior as very well worthwhile. However visits so far this holiday have both been poor in elements. Quite an old and cold muffins (claimed heated by staff) and then overcooked and doughy hot cakes with expensive ice cream were big disappointments. My brother in law had poor coffee on the visits. Plus during near closing time visit,... More

Nearly always reliable with good, prompt service and food quality. The insistence on queueing is a real pain in busy periods, and the cafe loses out on business. After breakfast with the family, everyone wanted a second coffee but no way were we going to queue again and the wait staff refused to take a table order, $25 lost to... More

Reviews suggested a great place. So we were excited but very disappointed. The floors were dirty. Counter service which is fine. And prompt food. But my milkshake was watery and disgusting and my pancakes were doughy and uncooked. Didn't eat them. Shared my husband's fish and chips which were ok. Very disappointing and won't be going back there.

Although the menu comes across as quite pricy, both the food and coffee are spectacular, and the service is lovely. The best meal we had in cowes.

Checked in for morning tea on a beautiful morning, and sat outside on one of the large tables with a friend. You have to order inside and you get a table number. We had coffees and I ordered some cookies. They have vegan and
