Always keen to visit this pub, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Wasn't busy on a Wednesday so atmosphere was a bit lacking. Food was ok, beer was cold, company was good.

Just 2 streets in from York Street, this historic inn serves very good pub food. Make sure you're hungry as the serves are more than generous. Try the pie either beef or chicken - delicious as was the Blueberry Cheesecake which was indeed blue!
The food was good, tasty pub food, the atmosphere warm and friendly and the service was fine. Historic photos around the walls made for interesting viewing.
We were in Albany for 3 nights and ate here twice. The food was super, good atmosphere and friendly staff. We could walk from our accommodation which made it very convenient
