Moran's is definitely a 'destination' restaurant. It's a bit out of the way, in a scenic spot, but you won't regret making the effort to get there. Note that, while the old part of the building is full of charm, the main dining room is...More

Sitting outside on a sunny day eating oysters followed by superb seafood chowder, homemade soda bread and a pint of Guiness! Heaven.

Tiny portions, expensive but very good quality. Used to be a regular but now it’s a rare treat. Shame..

Used to love to stopover there on the way west. But last time, I was really disappointed. Food was average, nothing special and overpriced. Don't know how they manage. Was the last time for me to stop there.

Everytime we come to Ireland we have to stop at Morans! We have now been here 3 times - 1997, 2008, and now 2018. It's been remodeled inside but the seafood has not changed and is still FANTASTIC. Normally we stop for lunch but this...More

Great food and service with a rare pint of draught Galway Hooker. Not an extensive menu and it's all seafood apart from the veggy lasagne. Not the cheapest place but we had no complaints. The fish and chips were excellent, very fresh fish and home...More

I am not sure if reservations are recommended. We went on a sunny afternoon & dined outside. There was plenty of space then. I would think that reserving a table might be a good idea.
