We went for lunch on a Wednesday and were the only diners. Arrived a bit early. No menu just excellent no frills food: buffalo mozzarella, a bean and spinach spread, a rustic eggplant/cheese/tomato "lasagnanetti", fusilli con rage and assorted cookies with a nice house red. The view and the cook and staff (her father?) enriched the experience.

We had dinner at this local Italian restaurant. The pasta was very delicious. Served with good red wine. We arrived an hour too early, but it was worth the wait. The restaurant opens at 19.30.

It was 3 of us, we had Antipasto and Fusilli al ragù. Everything was absolutely delicious: from a refreshing caponata to the spicy liqueur. The view was breathtaking. If you wanna escape from the city, relax and eat tasty local food this is the right place. Grazie mille.

Food was delicious: an assortment of antipasti, good wine, the town's famous Fussili pasta, salad and sausage, steak, desserts, and post-meal liquor (a delicious variety of homemade options!). We came here both nights while in Felitto. It is better to call ahead of time so the chef can prepare enough ingredients, since the food is fresh. Gino was our server... More

After a morning kayaking and swimming in the nearby chalk gorge we decided to check this place out for lunch as one of the few restaurants in/near Felitto. We were a bit sceptical as we arrived, it was quite far out of town and there was no one else there but we thought for somewhere to survive this far out... More

We were staying in Felitto and because it was not yet high season, it was not easy to find a restaurant when we arrived. Thankfully, our host at rifugio del calore knew what to do and called Angela from l'Occhiano. Angela was just cooking the famous fusilli with ragu and we could join. We were relieved we found dinner and... More

We came to this beautiful place a few hours before dinner-time, but was welcomed in a very friendly way. The landscape and the atmosphere made us feel we were in an Italian version of the film "Mamma Mia". We sat outside looking at the great view, waiting to see what would be brought to us as starters. It was all... More

During a 4-night stay in Felitto, my husband and I ate here 3 times and had a brief lesson in making fusilli! Even with my limited Italian language skills, we were able to communicate and enjoy our meals there. All who work here are very kind. The food was delicious, and we found the prices to be very reasonable. Grazie... More

We stopped at this idyllic restaurant on the way to Gole el Galore in July 2013. This little gem served the best lunch we had in Italy. There was no menu to choose from but we explained that we are vegetarian and the chef made us at least 6 different dishes which were each exceptionally tasty! The homemade fresh pasta... More

The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the view are all fantastic! I make sure to have all of my dinners at L'Occhiano during my visits to Felitto.
