Our tour group toured Ronda, and we had free time for lunch. On the recommendation of our guide we had lunch at this establishment. The decor was interesting, with photos and memorabilia consistent with the town's rich bull-fighting history. We had a hearty bowl of vegetable soup with bread, and a plate of local ham with local cheese. The meal... More

Another authentic charming bar and restaurant worth locating, in a small street opposite the Main Door to the Plaza de Torres .The bar to one side is long and narrow with tiled walls and old posters , the restaurant on the other side is actually part of the Hotel which is above and accessed via a small wooden staircase leading... Great food and wine, full of locals and great service. I had the rabbit with garlic sauce and my wife had a lamb shank. Perfect meatballs and best fries for some time as a starter. I would recommend this place to anybody. A great contrast to some of the over styled restaurants back home in the U.K. who often promise... More

Visited Ronda and our guide recommended Restaurante Hermanos Macias for an authentic Spanish meal. Glad we followed his recommendation. The tapas were delicious and the portions were very generous. Good local wine to accompany our meal. Very reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely friendly, efficient and charming. Appetizer of ham & Ronda cheese was very tasty and, scrambled eggs w/ red & green peppers was amazing. Don't know what they put in the eggs(maybe whipping cream) but they were excellent! The Bulls Tail was a pleasant surprise for a first timer. Boiled Potato was served w/ a scoop of... More

I can only review on the restaurant, as I didn't stay in the hotel. The restaurant itself is a beautiful old authentic Spanish restaurant locate in the centre of Ronda with underground multi-storey car park right next to it, and the bull ring a 2 minute walk. I ate the famous Spanish ox tail as it is very typical is... More

We were in Ronda on the feast day, Feria Pedro Romero, where a bull fight was scheduled for 5 PM, along with other festivities. Spaniards were adorned in Flamenco dresses for many of the women and Flamenco-like suits/hats for many of the men. This was their busiest day of the year, a coincidence our tour just happened to be there.... More

Found this charming restaurant in a back street. We were attracted by the colourful paintings and artefacts. The waiter also smiled and welcomed us. The grilled chicken breast was tender and nicely cooked. Loved the glass of Rioja wine. You could have a selection of tapas which some people were having but we decided to have one meal each. Good...
