My husband and I visited Ronda in October 2013. We popped in to this restaurant for an early lunch and were not disappointed. We ate here on a Monday night, they close on Wednesdays, and we're the only diners at 7.30pm. Our meal was delicious and we were warned that the lamb we'd chosen would take 30 mins to be ready. Probably the slowest service in the world. Not paying attention if new customers arrive although there is not much going on. Ordering a simple coffee takes 20 minutes. Location is nice next to the city hall. But that's about it.

We pitched up, ordered - some standard tapas, some new twists (black pudding balls crusted with almonds and served with orange marmalade). Excellent all the way through. Great Ronda house wine, Couldn't fault it.

7 of us enjoyed a superb dinner out at Meson El Sacristan.... the wine list was very extensive and showcased the excellent wines from Spain. The service was impeccable and very friendly. strongly suggest you make a booking in advance.

We were fortunate to be staying in a very nice apartment overlooking this restaurant & the plaza. Located next to the church of Santa Maria la Mayor, this is a picturesque place with choice of tables outside in the courtyard or inside in the bar-like setting. Found this restaurant by accident - had such a great tapas lunch of prawns and avocado salad that we went back in evening for dinner. just had an eight course dinner with unlimited wine . The dishes were special , unique and tasty. The entree lightly buttered local fish was excellent. The staff were very friendly . Highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Ronda

We had lovely dinner there and it was great. Dishes were delicious, service kind and quick, and prices ok (middle range). Good choice for both dinner or lunch.

Description
Located at the very heart of the historic center of ronda next to the real colegiata de santa maria la mayor. Our speciality is meats grilled in a wood burning oven. Non stop cooking. Our day off is on wednesday. In winter we close also tuesday night.
