I googled where would be the top asam pedas place. This came out second. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness n organised. So we ordered two types of fish...jenahak n pari sets. The set came with rice n taugeh n telur masin. We added...Kangkung belacan. The asam pedas was superb with fresh fish, not pedas like over the top pedas. It was really brilliant! I also bought their packed asam pedas paste. Bonus...the stall next door sold keria gula Melaka...soft n just sweet enough! Bonus...toilet was clean. Highly recommended if you are in Melaka!More

Asam pedas is a thick spicy soup of fish cutlets (although meat variety is sometimes available) and is a traditional Malay n Nyonya dish. This outlet specialises in the asam pedas. When it comes to asam pedas; each outlet offers its own unique recipe so...its to each their own. We make it a point to try the different outlets to experience the flavour of each. Pricewise this eatery is fair and besides the main fare of asam pedas it offers other malays dishes. accepts electronic payment.More

Great Assam Pedas place! . It's always packed with people but the staff will quickly clear the tables and direct you to available tables so hopefully you don't have to wait too long. Price are reasonable and they also have other options such as Chicken...Rice if you don't eat asam pedas. They sell their asam pedas paste which you can buy if you would like cook your own.More

Acceptable but not the best, the asam pedas and rice should have been served hot. Do not come at night as most of the 'lauks' would've been finished.

A place for Asam Pedas in Malacca. Above average home cooked taste of Asam Pedas. Good convenient location and affordable pricing. A bit oily but normal for Asam Pedas Malacca. The Fish Asam Pedas is better than Beef. Suprised that they also have Lamb Asam...Pedas. Worth going with good service and hygiene.More

Twice every year, I will just about lose my head and drive almost 300km to have my dose of asam pedas ikan pari here. It's simply the very best I've ever tasted. The spicyness, the amount of asam, everything is just right. Great balance of...all the ingredients in it. Price is very reasonable too. If you're into asam pedas, this is highly recommended.More

Tasty ! Good asam pedas. Other dishes available but not as good as their signature asam pedas. Service is fast. But be prepared to wait till you get a table. I arrived at 2.30pm and still have to wait for a table. But to be...fair to them, my group has 13pax.More

Did my own solo trip to melaka. One of the food im looking for is asam pedas. There is abundant of asam pedas stall in melaka. I had asam pedas clay pot in melaka town, and the gravy is not to my liking. The asam...pedas is too sweet with less species in it. As for pak man asam pedas meet my tastebud. Balance of cili and sweetness in a correct proportion. Purchase the Tetel, and 2 type of fish asam pedas. (total 3 types). As for the tetel having too many fats in the asam pedas with little tetel but its where the taste came from:). The crowd start to forms, at 11am during lunch. The service was fast. Ample carparks. Overall food quality is good.More

They serve one of the best assam pedas in melaka. Ample parking lot. I went for dinner and its easy to find a table. If you come during lunch, make sure you go early or a bit later after 2pm. It looked grand from outside,...however they could improve the decor inside. Its a bit dull. Will come again for sure because the price for the assam pedas set is reasonable.More

This opened at the end of 2017 so it is a fairly new restaurant but was an immediate success. It is packed every day except Wednesday when it closes. The decor is above average and the speciality Asam Pedas is probably the best in Melaka....It has to be because this is about the only dish on the menu. For me this is the drawback. I went quite often when it first opened but eventally tired of the limited menu. I recently returned and the food is still excellent.More
