Our guide HIGHLY recommended this restaurant and frankly... it looked "cool" from the outside - kinda tucked away off an ally. We arrived a bit past the lunch rush hour, but even so at first it looked like we wouldn't be able to eat there since they were hosting a large South Korean tour group who were basically taking over... My party and I ate here for dinner in early October and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. The staff were friendly and prompt, and the platter of mixed traditional dishes was fantastic.

Cozy restaurant in an old but interesting building. Food were interesting as we were not familiar with Bohemian cuisine. Both the price and service were good. A worthwhile restaurant to try if you visit Cesky Krumlov

The private guide that was helping us on a short visit to town took us to this small restaurant. Very old building with 3 floors and very rudimentary. It was like visiting a medieval tavern. They served us a real local feast, and everything was great. When the check came we were in shock!!! Extremely cheap.

Good location, if you are lucky you'll have a nice view over the river Moldva. Price is affordable, service is friendly. We were there in November Friday afternoon.

Very good home cooked food, verrrry generous servings in a cozy home by the river. Inexpensive too! Must have their cabbage soup, it's delicious - both non vegetarians & vegetarians loved it. We ordered the platters, both meat & vegetarian. Servings are BIG. All quite tasty. Staff & owners are very welcoming too. Reservations recommend.

This is a fun spot crammed into an ancient building. Atmospheric inside and with additional picnic table seating outside along the river offering scenic views. Friendly helpful service, and a good selection of local dishes at reasonable prices. We went for the fiesta plate for two. It included ham, croquettes, sauerkraut salad, dumpling, a quiche-like pie slice, and choice of... More

I had a lunch and diner in this restaurant three or four times as a tour guide, the food is very good in both veg and nonveg form, service was friendly. The house is a little maze of a typical medieval disposition, it is near the river and has a outside sitting space for at least 30 people with the... More

The Czech driver who drove us from Prague recommended this place, and he was right. The dishes were good and had generous portions. Since the evening air was cool, we sat under the heaters and the waiters also provided blankets. My daughter and I both had the trout, which was flavorful, but there were quite a few bones that we... This little place is amazing ! Eating out on the river in full view of the Castle is a great experience. The food is tasty and well presented. Price/quality ratio is respected fully. The girls who run the place are sweet and very professional. We went to eat there or just for a drink everyday of our visit as we... More
