Went Wednesday night and couldn't have enjoyed it more although the window seat was a bit cold on a freezing night. Tapas starter excellent as was the main course. Give it a try , I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Quirky decor, lively atmosphere, a popular restaurant, La Boca offers a good menu at reasonable prices. The steaks were very tasty and cooked just right. Service was good too.

We stayed at the Salvator hotel and this is part of it. A delightfull series of arched rooms full of quirky design features (just check out the floor for instance!) create a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. Staff are excellent, friendly and speak good English. The menu is a mix of Czech style tapas, pastas, steaks, Czech dishes, salads and even... More

First the positives the food is good, tasty and plentiful. Had a great chicken and steak dish, served with pickles, salad and olives. The service was awful, they started clearing plates as each person finished rushing you to finish your food. This was before 9pm and they didn't have a queue of people waiting, not that that would of been... More

Our last night in Prague. Just ate there and had a wonderful meal of tapas, Argentine style. Czech food has been ok, but this Spanish influenced meal was just what we needed. Not in the big tourist areas but in a more residential setting, maybe half a mile from Powder Tower. Steak tartar was a big hit, as was garlic... More

Description
La Boca is a distinctive district of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, famed for its vivid colours and excellent food. The area is inhabited mainly by immigrants and therefore many cultures are blended here (though primarily Italian and Spanish). That combination of Spanish, Italian and Argentinean culture and cuisine became the inspiration for LA BOCA RESTAURANT in Prague.

Just like in the district of La Boca, we want to offer our customers the same gastronomic variety influenced by the mix of various cultures. The basis of our cuisine consists of quality, fresh ingredients imported directly from Spain and Argentina. During the summer months, our customers can enjoy food served up directly from our garden grill or sit comfortably and listen to live music.

We prepare our steaks from the highest quality Argentinean meat, which is known for its characteristic flavour.

Our pasta is exclusively homemade on the premises.

Our philosophy is to offer customers an out-of-the-ordinary gastronomic experience and a personal approach.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
