5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We came across this place after taking a wrong turn down an alley way and wanted to escape the rain. We were warmly welcomed and served impressively quickly for how busy the restraunt was. I tried the beer toast to start (which I didn't particularly like but my fiancé woofed down) and I ate his brie instead which was really... More

The restaurant is near the old town square and is easy to find. Nice place after one day's walking... The food was good and I love the ribs! As always!

If you are looking for that Czech traditional pub that is the place! Food is amazing, staff seems a bit busy and two persons trying to manage everything and doing well but just without that fake smile that you may get in some other countries.

Food was okay but service was terrible. Waiter was really rude and unpleasant. We've ate soup which was allright but too salty. No more complains about the food but they definitely need new crew.

I went with my friends, total 3 couples to dine in there. When we tried to place an order, the waiter ignore us for few times and when we making our orders, he show us attitude. Today we spent our dinner in this restaurant. The Czech cousin was unbeatable and the portion was also so huge. Certainly we enjoyed the beer and the place's feeling. Nicely furnished and the stuff were kind and polite. Worth to try if you have chance. Preliminary reservation highly recommended especially in dinner time.

I've read recent reviews on here and to be fair there were a fair mix of customers from different nationalities in at the time. I found the staff to be very attentive and pleasant. The food and Drink is cheap.....with a really nice old wooden pub (think from a Tolkien novel). No complaints. Just enjoy the goulash

This restaurant was a breath of fresh air in Prague Old Town. We stopped by for dinner after seeing a ballet at the Estates Theatre. You absolutely MUST try the pork knee. My boyfriend and I cannot stop talking about it. Great food and drinks at a great price.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
