This place is really nicely decorated. Located at a sidearm of the river close to Charlesbridge. Service is ok. Food is medium quality. Prices are way too high for what is being served. I will most likely not come again, as there are way better options in Prague.

The worst place to eat in! Staff were rude, food was average,it was the most expensive place we ate in 5 days with a bill that made no sense, all they want is 15% tip on top of excessive charges for pretzels, napkins, use of the toilet. We really wished we had read the reviews before we ate here. To... More

Had a wonderful evening eating and drinking in this very quaint restaurant overlooking the watermill. The meal we had was beautifully cooked but not huge so we then had the pancakes with nutella which were delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely gorgeous place to drink and eat when sat on the balcony of this beautiful restaurant. We happened to walk past and decided to eat there. However, although the location was magnificent, the price wasn't. All main courses were fairly pricey and then we realised that you had to order chips, potatoes, dumplings etc as a side. I had the... We walked past this restaurant and decided to eat there. The location is very nice, with a view on the watermill and the chairs, tables and decorations are very nicely done. The food was good. We had a carpaccio salad and soup as starter and Sha Schlick as main course, which were both very nice. The staff was friendly. It... More

The food, service and setting are exceptional. Located in Mala Strana next to one of the old watermills and bridge with the locks. Original dishes like a fresh courgette salade with capres and soup of the day served in a hot crispy bread. Absolute must when you are in Prague

Beautiful restaurant on the historic Kampa Island area of Prague. We sat next to the window so we would have a view of the river and water mill and very close to the St. Charles Bridge. In the court yard there is a sleigh... very romantic... attentive employees and Czech cuisine.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
