Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The service is great and professional. In general the food is of great quality and very nice presented. BUT we were quite disappointed of the starter. For us this was everyday food presented in a fancy way. This is not what I expect in a restaurant like this. For us really disappointing if you... More

We booked New Year celebration in this hotel: Mediocre menu, not enough for the number of guest ( we have to request several times for missing food items such as oysters, dessert, bread etc.. Overall food was just average.

I can tell that this was the best restaurant where we ate in Prague. We went there because we were near and were surprised by the quality of the food. Delicious duck. Strongly recommend it!!

Well, the place is a Hotel restaurant, so it has both bad and good sides. Been here only once, and while staying in Hoffmeister, can't say I was truly satisfied with everything, unfortunately. The food is well prepared, with a taste (which is not totaly mine), some really nice dressing and serving, but from three course meal I could hardly... More

spent two enjoyable evenings at Ada whilst staying at the Hoffmeister. On the first evening there was a pianist which was a nice touch. Back to the food-rabbit, duck, souffle - all excellent. On the second evening there was a mix up with the order but this was soon sorted out. Prices reasonable for the setting too.

If u are staying at the hotel and don't want to go out, there is a very good restaurant in house, we were very happy with the food, selection wine list Etc. All in all is a bit expensive, and there are a lot of good restaurants in Prague, but good drop by there...

Good food, but we got very bad service. We lived at the hotel and one evning in this restaurant was more than enough. Prague is full of good restaurants so if they want to have guest they have to inprove the service!

We had dinner twice there while staying in the hotel. Once we had a menu given as part of the stay package. And the second time we took a la carte. Food is very good. Great quality and presentation. Service is excellent. Though price is not cheap.

We were touring with a group from Grand Circle River tours and stopped by the Hoffmeister Hotel on our way down from the old town with another couple. The staff was welcoming and the food fabulous in a lovely setting! The wild boar goulash was outstanding and best I had ever!! The staff was sweet and shared the recipe with... More

Thought we would try the restaurant on our first night and we were not disappointed. The dishes we selected were all very good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was also nice. Give this a try.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
