We were a group of 4 friends touring the city and picked this place for supper with a pub like atmosphere. Great meal that we all enjoyed along with great local beer. The atmosphere felt very authentic and particularly pleased that it wasn't touristy but rather frequented by Czech locals. Service was excellent and the price was very inexpensive for... More

We started our evening here at the rum bar and there was such a lot of choice we had a few more drinks than intended. A lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. It is quite small and cosy inside. We thoroughly enjoyed the hour we spent there.

I had the a burger and a beer, prices are not too bad considering the location but they hit you with the oldest scam , a greedy 15% service charge. According to Czech law, service is always included in meal prices so they cannot do this. They know, but they try with showing me the microscopic text hidden in a... More

Food was very good, we ordered daily menu with soup, main course and beer, and we were very satisfied with food. Prices are not high, too. Nice place for lunch.

We are disgusted with the service in this expensive and small cafe. The Waiter had a terrible attitude and I am sure he made a deliberate error with our drinks and he stole the Duck that we wanted to take away. Unbelievable mentality really. Stay away.

We went to this restaurant a few nights ago. Our child wasn't very hungry so we decided to get the food to take away. We put everything onto one plate to make it easy for them to wrap up for us. Later on when I opened up the take away dish......I noticed all the duck that had been put in... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
