My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on our 1st night in Prague. We sat inside but they also have outdoor heaters and provide blankets on the sitting area outside to take the chill off. The staff were really friendly and ensured everything was ok for us. The food was gorgeous but was very rich in flavour as we had... More

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. Great service, excellent wine. Both the pork and chicken risotto were delicious. I can't believe how low this place is ranked. Nice interior too.

Visited for drinks, staff not friendly, got drinks order wrong, heaters outside are deceiving and don't give out much heat on a cold windy day !

Called in off the street for a quick lunch. The cinnamon gin and tonic was superb and the burgers were also very good indeed. The pork/mushroom risotto was sublime . Quick and friendly service. Highly recommended.

On our first night in Prague, after wandering the laneways and familiarising ourselves with the main town square, we decided to dine at the restaurant at Hotel Savic where we were staying. We chose traditional dishes of rabbit leg with potato and dumplings and a soup in a bread bowl. As an observation, cooking in Prague and the Czech Republic,... More

The restaurant is part of the Savic Hotel where we are staying. To make the first evening easy we chose to 'eat in' plus the 20% discount voucher was also an incentive! The food, drink and ambience was good but what really stood out were the staff - very friendly and attentive.

We went the U Dominikana for my girlfriends birthday and it was a fantastic meal, good atmosphere and excellent service. We were apologised to because the background music didn't work so it was really quiet but that was irrelevant. The meal itself was really good and I tried the Pork Knuckle which was something I had wanted to try for... More

Part of the Savic Hotel, this restaurant is sited a stone's throw from the Old Town Square near the famous "Astronomical Clock" and trades on it's location. The food is very ordinary and I would not countenance it for dinner. For a quick traditional lunch of goulash and dumplings, it's passable.

Although not "cheap" the food was delicious! Had the Czech goulash and was surprised that the onions were raw but it was the perfect addition. Plus, the Czech dumplings were out of this world! Light and fluffy and perfect to soak up the leftover sauce!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
