I visited this place twice, first time for a lunch and second time for a brunch-birthday party. The interior is modern and nice looking. The meals were tasty and I enjoyed their wines. One flaw is that in the morning you can order only meals from their breakfast menu, for regular menu, you have to wait till 11 am. The... More

Visited this restaurant for dinner whilst visiting my daughter who is in Uni in Prague. She had walked past many times and thought it looked good so booked a table for us. It was excellent. Staff were really good and helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was good and the food was excellent and competetively priced. Would go again

Enjoyed our evening meal here. The waiter was very helpful, advising about the food and which wine to choose. Thank you Anna for the recommendation.

Visited this morning after a little bit of trouble finding a suitable cafe with our 14 month old. Saw Mistral Cafe from across the street and took a chance. Service was very good, waitress with name starting with K was very attentive and no problem at all to arrange a high chair for our little man. Coffee was excellent, breakfast... More

After walking past the café one evening, we decided to pop in the following morning for breakfast with our three kids. We were quickly seated and provided menus in English. We ordered 4 plates of the traditional pancakes with raspberries and cream curd and one order of eggs Benedict. Both the flavor and plating were fantastic. When we received the... More

We got here on accident. We just wanted to rest our tired feet somewhere. It was a pleasant surprise however. The espresso was delivered with some water, as it should, and milk, if you wanted. The milkshakes used fresh ingredients, but did not exactly taste like milkshakes. The pumpkin soup, while not creamy, was good and definitely had that Asian... More

Great food - great prices - we got the goat cheese /beet "burger", chicken sandwich and salmon sandwich. With 1 wine, waters, tea and 1 dessert we only paid $40 USD plus tip. And we had a 9 month old which everyone was very tolerant of. We almost didn't go in because it looked upscale - everyone was dressed nice... More

This cafe featured in our guidebook, I'm afraid we didn't agree with the glowing review. It was inexpensive but that didn't excuse lacklustre service, watery pasta and mediocre fish and chips. Decor is clinical. Might function better as a cafe during the day, but grabbing a bite to eat there at night left us feeling disappointed.

Friendly staff welcomes you in this clean, modern restaurant. Great breakfast but not the cheapest. Worth it though!

The place is great, the food is very good and the prices aren't very high, but the staff was a bit annoying, not very kind and sort of hovered over us while we were counting change for the tip.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
