Stopped in here on the off chance, in side was very clean and staff were extremely friendly. There was different food choices in the menu to choose from which was nice. The price of the food was very responsible and a good price! I had a pasta carbonara which I very much enjoyed! I would recommend to go here if... More

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and thought it was very reasonably priced. We thought the service was friendly and the location was ideal.

Usually eat only local food when abroad. ..but arrived late and didn't want a big meal, so popped into here late evening. Despite being busy staff were attentive even though we had just a small order. Service was efficient and food good. Yes, you may find better Italian food but here was handy and not overpriced for proximity to Old... More

A gorgeous old building with a unique ambience such a surprise from the minute you step foot inside. The food was wonderful and the coffee was the best I have had in Europe so far. It was a great place to get out of a miserable wet day and just relax.

We came here very late on our stay just before 11pm on a Monday night so probably about to shut but they were very accommodating to us. Didn't rush us and even tho we were the only people in their we enjoyed the experience. We had a bolagnaise bruschetta to start and it tasted great. A large white and red... More

Off the main square – well located and servers are friendly and accommodating. Nothing fancy, a bit pricey (consider the location!) but still worth a drink and a snack to view the throngs of people outside.

We stopped here today for coffee and a croissant. The male staff were very friendly and gave us a fantastic coffee and a fresh croissant. We were very impressed.

Had a great meal here during a recent visit to Prague. LaScala is in a great location, one short block from the Old Town Square, behind the Tyn church. There is outdoor seating for good weather visits. Inside, there is some seating on the ground floor, and a dining room in the basement, where we were seated. Normally we would... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
