Prague is a city of views. The Funicular gives you the aerial view. Take it at night. It starts in Little Town.

The atmosphere is not spectacular and the food is normal, nothing special. The best is the prices.

Thank Carlos F

Conveniently located on lively Melantrichova Street, a winding cobblestone way that connects Old Town Square to Wenceslas Square is the attractive pizzeria and restaurant Funiculi Funicula. The intimate pizzeria boasts a lovely interior with antique looking walls, mirrors, black chandeliers, wooden ceiling beams, large open windows and comfortable seats; the decoration of the interior is a pretty combination of rustic and modern. There are also tables located outside on the cobblestone sidewalk, a perfect place to sit and munch on a fresh tasty pizza and watch excited people go by exploring Prague. Pizzeria Funiculi Funicula Ristorante is a good choice for a relaxing lunch in the midst of giddy swarming tourists. As an extra added plus, the pizzeria is open until 2 a.m.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
