This is the nearest place to the center of Prague you can taste real Czech food and beer. So escape from the tourist center and come here (you should book a place on the morning and if you want something more then schnitzel or some fat pate, order meal at least 24 hours ahead) Food is decent, beer is great... I was there 2 times with my Czech colleagues and it was both times great. The beer is simply amazing. Also the food quality was quite good for the price. The waiter was quite slow, both times though . . .

Very rude, aggressive and unfriendly staff, especially to tourists. Would not recommend. Food average. Not worth it unless u r starving.

Horrible waiter, was very rude when I didn't speak Czech and yelled at us. Nasty experience for our first night in Prague. AVOID.

Looking for true Czech cuisine? At best possible prices? Duck or goose, prepared to its best point? You get it here! Dont expect staff to be fluent in foreign languages, nor the guests, but boy is the food good!! We fell in love with this restaurant and will be regulars!

Own microbrewery with great beer, excellent Czech traditional cuisine, local duck recommended! Not for vegetarians 😂

I experienced the most delicious duck and pâté here! The best I've had in Prague, it's very Czech and can be busy. The waiters aren't the friendliest to tourists but it's worth it for the meal. The beer was also great and it's all extremely affordable! Fantastic food for great prices!

Struggled at first because the menu is not in English and the staff don't speak English. Somehow managed to understand in Italian that their most popular dish was the duck so I ordered that. And it was soooo good. And so cheap. Really highly recommend.

Living for a week with my family in Prague, we were invited by a new friend to have dinner together in this famous Prague's RESTAURACE U BANSETHU where "the real Czech atmosphere" and "the best baked duck in traditional owen" would be found.... But entering this restaurant (located in an old building) we were surprised to find a crowded big... More

This pub has by far the best roasted duck in Prague. You can also have plenty of another typical czech dishes. Don't forget to order your Pilsner beer, which has high quality here, even for locals. Unique experience for reasonable price!
