This is heart place, even I cannot visit it often as it is far from my home. It is owner managed place where you can feel customer interest and love for coffee. Do not come for a coffee with milk, They really enjoy soul and grounf of coffee and they prepare it in many alternative ways. Thanks to them I... More

It's really small, and hence gets quite noisy. Their coffee skills are however undoubtable and you'll definitely appreciate baristas' sense of humour. Pity it is opened only in inconvenient "office hours".

Why does this place have 5 stars??? For whatever reason it surely does not deserve it. The server that was working was super pretnetious, rude and unpleasent to be served by. The cafe latte that I received was not hot, and not good at all. I think the milk was on the verge of being spoiled. Not a fan of... More

A lovely bistrot cafe ! We had breakfast and brunch several times there during our visit in Prague. Near the very center of old city Prague, but in a quite street of Prague 2, Al Cafetero is a must-visit. We especially enjoyed our omelettes and our latte. We also loved the desserts, especially the home-made tiramissu but also some main... More

So lovely place to drink cup of exclusive coffee or soulless tea, especially when it get cold outside! Also it is very nice place for healthy breakfast, I notice porridges in the menu, which is not so easy to find in Prague! Definitely one of the best place to take a little rest in Prague 2 area!

Friendly staff, very good cakes and the best coffee - I suggest you ask vaccum pot, you will see the fascinating process of coffee brewing.

Maybe a good place for a coffee but definitely not for a glass of wine (average quality for a very high price). The personal is not very friendly and somehow unpleasant. The server seemed to pay much more attention to people he knew and who probably come regularly. We waited 15 mins until the server noticed us, quite funny considering... More

Al Cafetero is very small coffee bar in Prague centre. Only good informated visitors can found it, because id hidden in one of the small street near Náměstí míru. Here we always get a best coffee with small dishes. Coffee is here the main product. The staff is not only to prepare and serve, but is ready to explain everything... More

For me Prague is a city where things get better all the time. However, feeling that one has over paid for the quality of the drinks and food consumed is still quite common in this city. Finding the right place, if you are a visitor, could be difficult to find. Many places even listed on guide books, my feeling is... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
