If you are in Stromovka drop in for a great and cheap Czech lunch and one or more cold beers. Sit under an old lime tree outside and chill. If you thrive on factory produced fast food and bad beer then avoid this place, you will not be happy.

Great old pub with lots of atmosphere inside and a nice terrace. Good traditional Czech food at reasonable prices. Great place for soups, goulash and dumplings. Local crowds with few tourists. The place is a little hard to find but a great find. Good pivo. Clean toilets.

One of the oldest pub in Prague, has spirit! Plzen and Unetice are beers served there. Service is mostly nice

Our host brought us to this pub one night. It has two parts: -the right part it's a kind of bar, where people go on the stage and sing, and they dance and have fun -the left part it's a pub, where they serve food and drinks. When we went there smoking was allowed. The food was really good, the... More

My 1st visit to this old, somewhat off the beaten path Prague pub. Went for a late lunch, only a couple of other patrons, this is my kind of place. Wood stove roaring, great Uneticke beer, old wood furniture. I had planned to just have one beer and try a couple of other places but I couldn't leave. Waiter approached... More

This place was built in 17th century and is a smoky local place with good pub food. I've had the goulash, excellent potato pancake with sour kraut and thick ham. They have a small outside area and a side dining room that is less smoky. All the locals come here with their dog or bike.

Amazing, "typical Czech" restaurant with very casual look of a pub. Serving typical Czech dishes at reasonable prices with excellent beer (Únětice). The service is very casual, always widely smiling. I prefer the garten in the Summer, as the interior is not appealing to me. Recommending the Ham hock (Pork knuckle), dish for 2 - 3 people, absolutely delicious. From... More

Stayed with my family at the hotel cross the street and almost every night went for dinner and a few beers there. Quite typical Czech establishment as we love. Seems to have a long history. Good selection of beers, including one kraft beer. Good food, above the average of the Czech pub, except the pivni syr which was pathetic. Definitely... More

It's really interesting pub. Beautiful interior, friendly service, a chef who knows, and that's the main thing, have a good selection of draft beers, which reigns Únětický brewery with its unfiltered twelve. Here spend a few million brain cells is an experience that is worth a few hours of life.

First of all, the service is poor here. Have been to Slamník several times over the past years and the service has gotten worse instead of better. Dishes are served in big portions, but the food is not overwhelmingly good. If you are looking for a place to eat after a long night out and need some a oily soup... More
