The staff were very nice and inviting. The food wasn't exactly cheap but it was decent. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible.

Whilst I know we are in Prague and we should try Czech food we found the "Czech Style" restaurants to be overpriced and a bit of a tourist trap. But we found Rocky O'Reilly's to be a great pub to enjoy a hearty meal and a pint or two. The value for money is probably the best we experienced in... More

We were viewing the Xmas markets on Wenceslas Square when the rain started pelting down, there was not much shelter so we decided to head back to our Hotel (Majestic Plaza) when we stumbled on this little gem. We ducked in to get out of the rain and were met by two lovely waitresses, they asked if we preferred a... More

We recently returned from a trip to Prague, (4 girls). Its a great city to see but we found it hard to find somewhere nice to each and anyone with manners! We found Rocky O'Reilly's by signs on the traffic light posts and said we'd check it out and i'm so glad we did. I found staff in shops &... More

Went in a few times as it was on our way from the hotel (majestic plaza) and the old town. Staff really friendly and super efficient, service was spot on even when really busy (who's was most of the time) Both food and drink were excellent, and would definitely recommend giving them a visit even if it's out of your... This place is just off Wenceslas Square and easy to find as there's boards with arrows on all over the place. Like most Prague bars you can smoke here BUT by the entrance are 2 doors. The right door is the main part where you can smoke & the door to the left is a completely separate room with it's... More

Called in here twice during our holiday. The service was good, waitresses friendly. Food looked good but we had already eaten, good range from breakfasts to lunches to meals, reasonably priced too.

Just off Wenceslas Square, friendly staff and reasonable drink prices, Can get a bit smoky but in the evenings they often open up two bars - one non smoking, the other smoking.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
