Worst food and beer in the city! We have been to many pubs in 4 day visit and this place is the winner in horrible places category. Nobody noticed us for first 15 minutes and when they did.. the waiter was extremelly rude and unprofessional. They have only 5 people in the restaurant and we waited for our drinks and... More

My friend and I went here for dinner after somebody recommended this place to us. We ordered some traditional Czech dishes and were pleasantly surprised how good they were. Paired with Pilsner Urquell beer made everything even better. The staff was polite and friendly. I am aware that this restaurant is a highly touristic one and located in a very... More

for our daughter. If such kind of service suits you, than it's ok. But the food quality isn't very good for the price...Also my plate had a broken side, it's just inappropriate! The only good thing about the place is traditional music... So just don't waste your time here.

Food and service were pretty acceptable till the bill was presented to us. First, there was a "recommended " tip of more than 10%. Then, when he asked for payment including his suggested tip, and we questioned about the tip, waiter immediately started to get annoyed and disrespectful. A few examples: "is there anything wrong with the service? So why... More

We went to this restaurant after visiting the castle. Everything was going well till the bill came up. Beside the total there was a tip recommendation more than 10%, we decided to give a tip but less than 10 %. When the waiter noticed we would not pay what he recommended, he asked where we came from, I told him... More

Simple local touristic restaurant, serving classics. Welcome drink is a great touch ! Having local music at background is also very pleasant.

5 years ago, we first came to U Dvou Srdci, and were so positively surprised we came back twice more. Back then, the goulash was one of the best we'd ever had, good enough to warrant return visits. Things. Have. Changed. The first bad sign was the tout outside, handing out menus and urging people inside. Not something a good... More

Great restaurant, appeared to be real homemade Czech cuisine! Food was great, and staff really friendly! Place is really close to the Prague castle too and definitely worth a visit!!

This hidden restaurant really was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for something to eat in this part of Prague and the few existing restaurants had high prices. This one has the prices lined up with the others of the same category. The place itself is warm and cozy. The only employee there served us very well and gave us... More

We stumbled across this little place on the way down from the castle and to our surprise it was lovely. Great atmosphere, awesome music and the food was lovely. The waiter was very friendly and offered us free drink upon entry. Yes they do state how much service you should leave on the bill but it wasn't much (equivalent to... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
