We had really nice beers in reasonable prices. Marinated cheese was really nice as a beer snack. It has nice interior and an old historical basement with an art gallery. Very good location!

This place is outstanding. We got tired of the same basic Czech pilsner we were drinking all over town (sorry, I respect a balanced, clean beer, but they are just plain boring.) U Kunstatu specializes in Czech beers that have life and character and, perhaps...More

They know their beers, excellent selection. All styles, mostly micro's. The staff knew them all. Nice setting, little bar area, small seating area and a couple of tables out front. Not much for food, just nibbles. They had a nice art display in the basement,...More

This place is heaven for craft beer lovers! They suggest a bit sampling of 6 different types of beer. Very recommended! The atmosphere was a bit low when we got there, but I hope it’s just by accident.

This was a last minute decision to go to and we are so glad we did. The staff are ace! We had a selection where we picked some and then left it up to the girl behind the bar to pick the others. It was...More

Great beer and sausages. Very friendly service. And people share their beer! But watch out the be can be quite potent.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and

In our craft beer bar, pub and shop U KUNSTATU we offer close to 100 craft beers from small and mid size local independent breweries. We were one of the first craft beer bars in the country and only one located directly in the oldest part of Prague just a few steps from Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. Our beer menu is changing together with beer season and actual offer of the best Czech breweries. We offer customized beer samplers, beer delicacies and tapas which you can enjoy at our bar or in our beautifull garden.

Of Romanesque origins, and dating from around 1120, our home, the palace U Kunstatu is located on a hidden cul-de-sac in the oldest part of the Old Town. Our underground palace is best preserved romanesque 12th century building in central Europe, It is both a UNESCO protected monument and a ‘time machine’ of architectural styles.
