In my experience, the service was good and the dishes well served (the pork knee was really big). We have to keep in mind that the restaurant is located in a touristic district.

I'm surprised to read the horrible reviews. We had fine food and fine service. Nothing really to write home about, but tasty. I liked the look of the place.

This restaurant is good choice if you like food from semifinished product. I got fried chicken cubes with ice inside.

We decided to gamble and follow a street hustler with coupons into this restaurant. It was cute but the food was beyond bad. Neither of us finished what we ordered.

Walking past here with a fussy vegetarian in tow, we popped in for a quick bite to eat I had a pretty decent goulash and a cold Gambrinus. No problems with service or the bill all fine

Minus: - overpriced (hidden payment), - not good service, - not fresh, bad food Plus: -Location I don't recommend this place. I paid too much money for disgusting soup and glass of wine. In the other restaurant I paid the same money for 2 tasty, fresh dishes and beer.

Nice location, good food, attractive atmosphere, typical unfriendly service but not worth the high price of the food. I suggest you go somewhere else. They charged me for using a plate and silverware as you can see by the charge that says "couvert" and added service charge to the bill. They do have free wifi. I ordered chicken with a... More

I have travelled the world over, and I have never seen something like this. We were "lured" into the restaurant with a colourful leaflet/menu with pictures and prices. Among several dishes, we ordered one dish the pictured and colourful menu/leaflet, but we ended being served a substantially higher priced dishes (main + side) according to the restaurant menu with more... Friendly people, nice place and the menu looked good. But now the reality. I ordered a quater chicken, but i got a chicken filet. My fault, I didnt complain. French fries were served in a cold bowl so they where cold too. Idem the grilled vegetables. On complaint rewarmed but still in a cold bowl. The meal of my partner... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
