Kogo Slovansky Dum is one of the significant restaurants in central Prague. The sea food is always very tasty. So is pasta and meats. The staff can be sometimes a bit cocky which is a shame.

We came here for the first time today(have been leaving in prague for a long time). Hostess was welcoming and she sited us in a table. First point was that we were waiting with my husband for about 10 minutes until waiter brought us menu. After when we were ready to order our drinks we were waiting for another 15... More

After one week in Prague we went for the last Dinner to Kogo. Already at the door you smell the excellent taste of Mediterranean kitchen. Very nice staff, perfect food and the atmosphere great.

We visited the restaurant at 21 o'clock and the place was very busy. It took too much time to bring us menu then drinks.... We ordered bottle of Prosecco And tap water and then we had with my friend Caprese And Cesar salad with shrimps and my salad was very disappointing - the salad was served in a strange bowl,... More

The food and service in this restaurant are always pleasant but what you really come for is the vibrant atmosphere. The wine list is impressive but make sure they give you the right year for the bottle you order. Particularly in the summer the garden is great. The development is called Slovansky Dum which is another one of Sebastian Pawlowski's... More

at a family lunch, we found an attentive service staff, but a poor kitchen: octopus too gummy, and - above all - the potatoes burned to black, bitter substance. as a bed for fie gras, very untasty. tap water is sold for 75 CZK (because one slice of lemon is added), which is a new way of prague robbery not... Loved the atmosphere but once they brought the starter - the calamari was not good. With the soufflé we were totally disappointed. We are traveling around the world and never had worse souffle. This restaurant is too nice for this kind of desert.

As an Italian frequent business traveller I'm used to eat at restaurant both for pleasure and business reasons. Italians are not used to visit Italian restaurants as for us "nothing is like mama's food" :) but here you will find very good fish dishes and atmosphere.

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
