Visited on Valentine's Day while in Prague at lunch. The food was super and the service was amazing. We received a complimentary starter and cannot express how good the food was for the price. Would definitely recommend and would definitely eat there again!

We dine here with my boyfriend during our weekend in Prague. The service was excellent, very attentive and polite. The atmosphere was also good and we liked the style of the restaurant. We had octopus salad and buffalo mozzarella to start with followed by a rib eye and a beef in cream. Everything was excellent. We had high expectation for... More

Looking for somewhere to lunch off the tourist beat on this cold and rainy winter day, we stumbled across this most delightful restaurant not too far from the main market. The restaurant brightly lit with its vaulted ceiling looked inviting with prices just above average for that part of town. We decided to lunch on local tcheque food instead of... More

We went for a dinner en couple. Athmosphere is calm and elegant Even if the menu proposed several fish main courses we opted for the deer. Meat was perfectly cooked and the combination of chocolated sauce, cauliflower and wallnut give an excellent and sophisticated result. Same positive judgment for the fois grais prepared in a equilibrate combination of flavours. Only... More

Accidental find on our last evening and worth the money. Very attentive and good staff took good care of us without being too intrusive or hovering around. The meats dinner we both had was fabulous and done to perfection. We rarely order the same dish but were very happy we did this time so neither of us were jealous! The... More

Petra and I found this restaurant by chance and although it was posher than we would normally eat at I made it into Petra's birthday treat. The service was excellent and friendly with the waiters switching flawlessly between Czech and English. I partly regret not trying the fish but we chose traditional Czech dishes of Svickova and roast duck. Often... More

After a long day walking round a very chilly Prague, we came upon The Ungelt set back in a little courtyard of the main square. It's looked very inviting from the outside and the staff were equally so. The food was beautifully presented, with a selection of fresh fish being offered at the table, but also plenty of delicious meat... More

Having read glowing reports of this establishment we decided to seek it out. Just an enclosed courtyard away from the bustling Old Town Square and throng of admirers of the Atronomical Clock you'll find Ungeĺt Restaurant. Not to be confused with the pedestrian Ungeĺt Jazz Club around the corner, the staff were accommodating and friendly; and I have the feeling... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
