The food was amazing. Never before have we had so much trouble narrowing down what to eat. Service was outstanding, the staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and excellent value for money.

We found this wonderful gem of a restaurant on TripAdvisor and were very happy with our choice. It is in a wonderful location and has a fabulous atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very professional and the food was amazing. The smoked duck starter was...delightful and my husband loved the Wild Boar main course. The live piano playing was an added bonus in a lovely restaurant with a charming ambiance! Highly recommended!More

We had a business dinner with our business partners there and all of us were perfectly satisfied! Definiteyl recommend their local specialty "the duckling" with some tasty local wine (honestly, I was surprised how quality and tasty Czech wines can be!).

Lovely restaurant! Live music with a pianist was a lovely touch. Both waiters were very nice, gave great wine recommendations. Complimentary bread and a literal slice of butter was very nice touch :) My partner had roast duck off the Easter menu and I had...grilled duck with fruit puree and coriander rice off the regular menu. Both were very nice! Would 100% recommend.More

Welcomed poorly by the waiter even though we had a reservation. Food was really expensive for Prague and not tasty. Meat was average, pepper sauce wasn’t homemade and poor wine for more than 10 euros per glass 80 euros for two main courses and two...glasses of red wine in Prague requires better quality To finish with, the waiter asked for 10 percents tip… A restaurant to avoid as you can find better quality for half the price at any corner To be fair, pianist killed it and was awesomeMore

We have had a very wonderful evening and diner. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is unique. The food and the wine are more than perfect. The duck is the best served in Praha. The service and the team are exceptional. They are...as service used to be in the past, real and professional waiters !! Go there without any doubt, alone , in couple, with Friends or family, you will have a perfect souvenir. Thanks to them !More

If you’re in Old Town Prague, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The food was delicious, the atmosphere charming and the service was attentive and extremely professional. It’s a must if you love trying traditional food and fine dinning.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel which they said there will be live music after 7pm for dinner and the food is amazing. However, we had bad experience here and made us rethink whether Prague is a good place. Rude waiter - when we...were paying our bill, the waiter "reminded" us that there is no service charge in the bill; when we were paying our bill by credit card, he asked us whether we will include the tipping in card paying. We had our meals in the past 10 days in Central Europe and we paid the tipping to every restaurant but none of them would ask us for tipping like this. Vegetarian unfriendly - the restaurant only serves duck, beef, pork and venison for main dishes. Personally I don't eat red meat so basically I don't have any choice for main dishes. But this wasn't the fault of the restaurant. Normal food - the food is so far normal; not horrible, but not good. Some of them are overcooked and some of them are quite raw. No live music - our hotel has known them for long and advised us there is live music but the waiter told us there is no live music during low season.More

Outstanding from beginning to end! Friendly, attentive staff who warmly welcomed us and took our coats before showing us to a lovely intimate table for two. Food and wine choices were explained and recommendations given leaving us to select for ourselves. The food was incredible...(maple duck breast, flamed deer saddle then crème brûlée for wife; venison broth, roast duck with ginger, pears and shallot mash followed by apple strudel for me) with a bottle of Czech Reserva Red 2019 Arte Vini. Pianist playing discretely in the background (struck up happy birthday when my dessert was presented along with complimentary calvados!) added to the ambience of softly lit, tastefully decorated interior. Fantastic meal in an excellent restaurant for fine dining experience; can’t recommend highly enough - we’ll be back!More

This was our fine dining experience in Prague. We passed it one day on our travels, liked what we saw so booked a table for the following night. Definitely the most expensive meal of our trip but if you’re wanting a bit of pampering then...this is just for you. We had A pâté starter Roast Duck & mash potatoes Pork Tenderloin, cream peppercorn sauce and potatoes Poached pear Bottle of Czech red wine. Bottle of still water Cost - £100 inc tip Couldn’t fault the food. Very good indeed. Service was what you’d expect in this type of restaurant. Except he charged us for a bottle of water when we quite clearly asked for tap water. But every place in Prague seem to try some kind of “extra” to their bill. Eg we were charged for mayo & ketchup in a burger joint on Wenceslas Square! Would we recommend? Yes if you don’t mind paying that little bit extra but perfect for a special occasion. It is also called the Blue Duckling on Maps which is a little confusingMore

After some distinctly average culinary experiences whilst visiting Prague, we didn’t hold out much hope for our last evening meal here, which was also to celebrate my birthday - boy how wrong were we ?! A quaint, cosy, and romantic little Restaurant, tucked away from...all the hustle and bustle… We opted for the tasting menu and accompanying flights of wine (which we thought was VERY good value !). Finally, some food to make us smile, each course getting better and better…..Finally, some food to make us smile (pictures included). The ambience was great, with a pianist playing in the front of the restaurant. The staff were engaging, knowledgeable, and good fun…..oh, and finally some bread that wouldn’t take out a car window ! We were eager to try the local Wines, which were all Paired really well, and had a fantastic dining experience culminating with a Crepe flambéed at our table. What a spectacular evening ! Prague - you DO have some amazing food, and if there is only one restaurant you visit whilst you’re here, it should be this one.More

We were referred by our hotel for our first romantic night in Prague. Did not disappoint as this was one of the best meals we have had in Europe. Small and cozy but with impeccable service. We started with the foie gras that was insisted...upon by our waiter. I had the boar roast..amazing flavor. And dessert turned a simple streusel into an amazing treat with black walnut ice cream. Probably expensive for Prague, but reasonable by American standards.More
