Been here twice, first time was amazing in a small group, with fab service from a chap who hardly spoke english - he was great, friendly, helpful and fun. next time i was on my own and was let down by the guy - he got really snooty with me, but hey, luck of the draw? food is good, the... More

Ate at this place twice while in Prague. Found completely by accident. Had wings there twice and they were excellent. Best wings I've found so far outside the US. Service was a bit spotty and our particular waiter was a bit annoying. The first time he tried to give us the wrong change and the second time we were there... More

As stated in the paper guide I had with me the food is pretty good the restaurant is cosy and well located but the staff is nothing professional : when we entered no one came toward us ... We were waiting for like 3 minutes before deciding to take a sit. Then some of them were having an argument just... More

What a great place for traditional Czech cuisine at reasonable prices. This restaurant is a little gem and well worth a visit. Great food, had trouble choosing there's so much, but the waitress helped a bit. Great beer to go with the food and left feeling very stuffed enough to need to add a bit to the short walk back... This was one of our last dinners in Prague. The ambience and food were good. We had Farmarsky salad, Kukuricne Kuratko and Romerquelle. Chardonnay went well with these dishes.

A good place for a filling meal with a beer or two. Good full plates and a fair choice of local foods and beers. The service was good, the food and drink not expensive and the atmosphere friendly in this bar just outside the old town. To my taste the beer was a bit too gassy compared to some other... More

Just 200 metres from our hotel, this provided a welcome retreat after a day visiting Kutna Hora and the Sedlec Ossuary. We wanted goulash and dumplings and our boys wanted burgers. The food was delicious, and a good size serving.

Thank katece1

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
