A cosy cellar with lots of stairs to reach it. At first view from the outside it didn't seem interesting but once downstairs we were all (including our 4year old) surprised. Lovely brick walls, silence (just heard the other guests), no mobile phones (too deep down the cellar), super friendly staff (the waiter especially) and delicious homemade food. The best... More

The food was good, especially the mushroom soup which was inside a dough/bread. Very creative. Serving good for two (at least for us). Nice one.

the place is hard to find and there is nothing special about the food. its used to be a wine cellar converted into a restaurant. on certain days there are lively performers in the restaurant

We had a fantastic evening meal here tonight. We went on a recommendation of a friend but had we been by ourselves there would be no way we would find it! Excellent food, service, price and portion sizes! The cellars are amazing although the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. Would certainly recommend people to make the effort to find... More

Having read about this 15th century vaulted cavern on trip advisor and seen large groups going down into this cellar restaurant we decided we must try it. On our first attempt they were FULL and we were refused. Undaunted we returned the next evening to find ourselves the only one's dining! On further reading of Tripadvisor reviews this seems to... Very disappointed with this restaurant. A group of six of us ate here on our last night in Krakow and it ended our trip on a bit of a downer. Especially as everywhere else we ate at was so good. I had made a booking, but needn't have bothered. When we arrived, half of the place was in darkness and... More

If you want to have a little hide out, but also witness some loudness and local folklor, you can taste Cracovian old recipes in this place.

The place goes down not up. Down underground that is. Quite warm and moist as protection from the weather. See dancers and musicians perform at night timeless polish classic dances. Its like eating in a cave with chandeliers and wine barrels . Finally an authentic apple strudel , pot bread soup and mushroom burger with red cabbage as you drink... More

Delicious food, not the usual main square fare. Had to wait for risotto which showed it was freshly cooked. Soup - borscht and onion soups tried were fresh and filling.
