This was delicious! Coming from Chicago I've had my fair share of Polish food. This was the best I have ever tasted at a restaurant. The chicken soup was phenomenal, as was the beet soup. My daughters liked their chicken and potatoes dish that came with some tasty carrots. They sat us downstairs by the water feature which entertained our... More

A great way to try some polish food, in traditional polish surroundings, listening to traditional polish live music. Sitting downstairs is the best place, the decor is great. Everyone got different dishes and we all enjoyed them...although we felt guilty for leaving lots of left overs as the portions are large! Our waitress was lovely and had a bit of... More

We were heading out for dinner and - given a late lunch - after something lighter and cheaper. Noticed this place on the map and thought we would give it a go since it was described as having regional dishes. Menu was great with clear vegetarian and vegan options. There was a lot of options we hadn't seen elsewhere. We... More

A local recommended this traditional place and we were very happy to follow his advice. Beautiful decoration, nice and smiling waiters and waitresses, music played live by musicians in traditional clothes and last but not least food was excellent. Ask to go downstairs , it is better than upstairs. Do not miss this place!!!

I really loved the look of this place, great atmosphere with a great location. I had the lamb sausage with some potato wedges and it was delicious. We also had the veal and zur soup. Everything was better than we could have expected. The local house beer was tasty as well. No complaints what-so-ever! With what we ordered, it was... More

Every time when I'm visiting Krakow it is my must go place. The food is really good. The atmosphere is nice, my only advise is to book the table during the busy periods in advance. It could be very difficult to get a table for an evening meal.

We recently visited this restaurant twice while in Krakow--it was recommended to us by a local tour guide. The food is delicious and affordable. I especially enjoyed the spinach and sheep cheese pirogi and the carrot/apple salad. It's also located in the Old Town, convenient to many sights. We'd recommend it. One note: Don't sit outside if you're bothered by... More

We visited this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We squeezed in just in the nick of time. Subsequent potential diners were all turned away disappointed unless they had pre-booked, so either book or eat relatively early of you want to be sure to get in. The menu is varied with lots of hearty Polish dishes,... More
